Must-Visit Shopping Malls in Kuala Lumpur

It’s undoubtedly for Kuala Lumpur to be well-known as a shopping destination for many tourists. If your main purpose of holiday in this capital city of Malaysia is pure shopping spree then you might have to do some research of suitable accommodation located near or only walking distance to the big shopping malls so that you can save the hassle of taking transportation.

The question here is which one worth visited and which one that might need to be skipped? The lists are totally based on my own preferences and not affiliated by any of the names. Some of them might be located a bit further from the city but the mall itself has its own uniqueness and I should say it’s worth a visit.

Opening hours

Please take note that the standard opening hours for most of the malls are daily from 10am – 10pm, except on weekends might be longer hours.

There is a connected bridge to Traders Hotel as well and other end of link to the KLCC LRT station.

Suria KLCC is the shopping paradise and food heaven for both locals and tourists. Divided into three sections: Ampang Mall, Park Mall and the newest extension Ramlee Mall, you can find basically e v e r y t h i n g in here, it houses one of the most wide range of shopping retails, anchor department stores (Isetan, Marks & Spencer and Isetan Grand), well-known luxury shops that carry western sizes (Chanel, Versace, Balenciaga, Salvatore Ferragamo), a 12-screen movie theatre which is the biggest Tanjong Golden Village outlet in the country) and for addition, a concert hall and an art gallery.
