1. AQUARIA KLCC

Aquaria KLCC is an oceanarium located beneath Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) that features 60,000 square feet in two levels underwater tunnel. With 250 different species and over 5000 exhibits of underwater and land creatures not only from Malaysia but around the world, experience life under the sea where fishes, stingrays, green sea turtles, and even sand tiger sharks sliding above you. You wouldn’t want to miss their feeding sessions and signature programmes: Dive With Shark, Cage Rage, and also Sleep With Shark programme for the children.

2. ZOO NEGARA MALAYSIA

Zoo Negara is located only 5 km from the city of Kuala Lumpur. It’s officially opened in 1963 and has a total of over 5137 specimen from 476 species of mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and fish. In addition, you can experience meeting the newest member of the zoo, the adorable giant pandas Xing Xing and Liang Liang. There’s also eatery and gift shop located inside where you can buy souvenirs for family and friends.

3. KUALA LUMPUR BIRD PARK

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is home for more than 3000 local and foreign birds with approximately 200 different species. It’s divided into 4 zones: Zone 1 & 2 which is the main feature where birds are let free and able to breed naturally, Zone 3 is the Hornbill Park, and Zone 4 where the birds placed in cages and mini aviaries. Visitors can watch birds’ life in a resemble tropical rainforest and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Other attractions include bird-feeding for the free-roaming birds, hornbills, ostriches, lories, parrots, and milky storks.

There are air-conditioned bird gallery, education station and bird school as well for visitors to know more about avian life. Gift shop and restaurant are available inside the park.

4. SUNWAY LAGOON THEME PARK

Opened to public in 1992, Sunway Lagoon has been the one-stop entertainment theme park ever since and it’s going to be Your-Best-Day-Ever guaranteed, just like their slogan. Enjoy up to 90 rides and attractions, and explore all the parks: Amusement Park, Water Park, Wildlife Park, Scream Park, Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon, and X Park. Not to mention plenty of activities lined up to delight you- parades, performances, live animal shows, and meet & greet with favorite characters like SpongeBob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer.

Snack and fast food restaurants can be found all around the theme park. At the end of the day, relax at the luxurious Sunway Pyramid Hotel that located just next to the theme park, or splurge yourself shopping at Sunway Pyramid.

5. KIDZANIA KUALA LUMPUR

KidZania is the perfect place for every children with every passion they have. They are able to experience realistic role-play occupations in a fun yet learning environment, such as pilot, chef, police, doctor, fire fighter, and so much more. It’s going to be a whole day full of excitement and amazing experience for the kids while they can develop their skills by learning to be more independent, responsible and know the value of teamwork.
